Cardamom, Almond, Peach Energy Smoothie

  • 1 10 oz bag frozen peaches, organic
  • 1/4 cup almond butter
  • 1 banana
  • 4 dates
  • 2-3 teaspoons agave or honey
  • 1 teaspoon ground cardamom
  • 1.5 cups of coconut water or spring water

The almond butter is rich in skin revitalizing vitamin E and protein. The coconut water will hydrate you and make you feel and look younger. Peaches are naturally sweet to satisfy your sweet tooth as well as provide you with fiber and vital vitamins such as vitamin A, C, E, B-6, folate and K.

Cardamom is used in medicine since it appears the natural chemicals can treat stomach and intestinal spasms. The herb is used to detox the body, remove inflammation, and alleviate heartburn, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), gas as well as infections. It may help with the common cold, sore throat, bronchitis and coughs. It is also a stimulant and used to treat depression.



1) Open a coconut and pour in the water or use spring water. You will need about 1.5 cups of coconut water or pure water.

2) Throw in the peaches from a 10 oz bag minus a couple for garnish. Spoon in about 1/4 cup of smooth almond butter, 1 teaspoon ground cardamom, 2 or 3 teaspoons of agave syrup depending on the sweetness of the peaches, 3 or 4 pitted dates, and one ripe banana. Blend until smooth.
