The gourmet salts are not processed and do not contain additives. There are not any anti-caking agents so you need to give your salts a little shake before use. For the most flavor, use within 3 months; they will last much longer but as with everything, plants oxidize over time slowly depleting the flavor and mineral content.

French Grey, Himalayan, and Fleur de Sel Sea Salt

French Grey Sea Salt also known as Sel Gris is hand harvested in the Guérande region of France. This salt is rich in minerals and is naturally lower in sodium compared to most salts. The high moisture content and crystalline structure makes this salt ideal for baking and roasting as well as a finishing. Sel Gris is certified organic by Nature et Progrès. A percentage of the profits goes to ALS research in honor of my father, Danny Kaye Corbett.

Himalayan Pink Sea Salt has 84 trace minerals including magnesium, potassium, iron, zinc and calcium. Fleur de Sel Sea Salt is from the Guérande region of France and is certified Organic by France’s Nature & Progrés. Known as the “caviar of salts,” it is the perfect finishing salt. It has hints of violet and a very smooth, sweet flavor. You will have a hard time using another finishing salt after tasting this one. A foundation for the Navy SEALs was chosen for this salt since it is the best salt on the market and finishes perfectly.

I am proud to feature glass containers, cork stoppers, BPA free lids, cotton packaging, and recycled paper. Chemicals in plastic may leach into salt so I feel it is important to use glass and wood containers. I do not want any of my products to contain BPA or other toxic chemicals.
